To our Clients, Candidates and Friends
Rusher Rogers Recruiting is always moving forward and I am delighted to be able to introduce you to another, and indeed, the newest member of our team, Paula Hems. Paula, who started in recruitment 14 years ago, will be managing our Temporary Division. Paula has experience in both temporary and permanent recruitment, and her career path has led her into some exciting roles including setting up a recruitment division in Sydney specialising in Call Centre recruitment, opening a branch office looking after both temp and perm for both white and blue collar recruitment, and a National Account Management position. Paula has also had experience working for a company specialising in skilled migration, but soon realised that her passion lies with recruitment and most of all with building excellent working relationships with both clients and candidates alike, to ensure a best possible match and a
'win win' situation for all concerned.
Paula says she is proud and happy to have joined the team at Rusher Rogers whose strong work ethic and focus on quality not quantity is in line with her beliefs. Please welcome Paula to our team and if you would like to contact her please call her on 03 9682 7044 or email paula@rusherrogers.com.au.

Recruitment News
Help hiring managers avoid rejected offers
To avoid problems with drop-outs late in the
recruitment stage, recruiters should educate hiring
managers on how to ensure top performers stay
engaged, says DTS International recruitment manager
Timothy Fields.
Fields says an organised interview process will
impress top performers and encourage them to accept
the job offer, but too often the process falls down
at this stage. Most managers don't realise that in a
candidate short market, up to 30 per cent of the job
offers made are not accepted, he says. ...
Improve the process
Hiring managers need to understand that their
interview with the candidate provides the
candidate's first impression of the business, Fields
says. They should have in place an
interviewing/hiring process before advertising the
position or discussing the position with a
recruiter...
