This Top Tier Professional Services Firm has an exciting part-time (.8) opportunity for a Commercially Qualified Chef based in Melbourne CBD, working 1:45pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday...no more weekends! With an extensive and constantly changing menu for in-house dinning, ranging from buffet lunches, cocktail parties, corporate functions to fine dining for small groups, through to 12 course degustation menus...this role has it all! Reporting to the Head Chef and Client Services Team Leader, your main duties include - Preparation of after hours meals, catering requirements and more!
- Maintain relationships with suppliers
- Assist with daily ordering and stock rotation
- Assist Head Chef to ensure menus are in keeping with allocated changes, seasonal availability and are well balance and varied
- Enter all menu options/selections into the booking system
- Invoice processing
- Assist recording of daily costing, reports and invoices
The ideal candidate with be a Commercially Qualified with 5 + years industry experience and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
